On the night of the incident, Liu’s wife, Sanny Liu, asked to preserve her husband’s sperm so she could someday have a child.

According to WCBS, Sanny Liu said she had a dream the night after her husband died that he was handing her a baby girl.

“I got pregnant through the [in-vitro] fertilization procedure,” said Sanny Liu. “And I told my friend, ‘It’s going to be a baby girl.’ My friend said, ‘No, you haven’t even checked the sonograms,’ but I was right!”

Sanny Liu was thrilled to welcome baby girl Angelina and said she can’t wait to tell her that her father was a hero.
