Two kids are looking forward to spending the holidays with their dad after a surprise homecoming left them in shock.

U.S. Army Sgt. Shawn Sullivan returned home to Sacramento, Calif., with some help from the Sacramento Kings basketball team, USA Today reports.

At a Kings game Tuesday night, Sullivan’s two kids were led down to the court to play a game. They were blindfolded and asked to find the Kings’ mascot, Slamson the Lion.

Instead, they found something way better — their dad.

Sullivan hadn’t seen his family in 11 months. Welcome home!
