A special delivery was made Friday on a Turkish Airlines flight, and the crew was right there to greet and assist the flight’s youngest passenger.
A woman who was seven months’ pregnant went into labor and delivered a baby around midflight on a trip from Guinea to Burkina Faso, according to a Huffington Post report.
The jet was at approximately 42,000 feet when the baby girl was delivered, and cabin crew assisted the mother and baby.
The mother and baby were taken to a hospital after landing in Burkina Faso and both are reported to be in good condition.
