A teen with Down syndrome is getting praise from across the internet after scoring a goal for her team during a field hockey game.

Sydney Wilson is a senior at Mechanicsburg High School in Pennsylvania. She has Down syndrome and loves being a part of the school’s field hockey team.  She has always dreamed of scoring a goal in a game. In a recent JV game against a rival school, she sank an amazing shot. Video posted to Twitter shows the entire team rejoicing with Wilson after the big moment.

“I’m very happy,” Wilson told Inside Edition.

“We’re very fortunate that Sydney has been part of our team,” head coach Tonya Brown told Penn Live. “She’s been a blessing to our team and she’s been great for our program.”
