Anthony Gonzalez is perhaps the most genuine and positive young man in Hollywood. Watch this interview and you’ll know why.
The 13-year-old Los Angeles native is the voice of Miguel, a young Mexican boy with musical dreams, in the Disney/Pixar ‘Coco.’ The movie picked up an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.
Gonzalez spent nearly a quarter of his life preparing for the role of a lifetime.
“It was a very long process. I started auditioning for ‘Coco’ when I was 9 years old,” Gonzalez told Hot Topics host Heather Catlin.
He was 11 when he finally voiced the movie. The young man says this movie has only fueled his desire to continue doing what he loves.
“Keep acting, singing, to keep following my passion and my dream, and to keep doing what I love to do.”
‘Coco’ is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
