TAMPA, Fl. – A family’s joy is touching the hearts of thousand thanks to the photos that captured the moment they met their daughter for the very first time.
Sarah and David Olsen say they always knew they wanted three children. Sarah’s first two pregnancies were difficult, leaving her sick and in hospitals, ABC News reports.
Their first baby is named Zakary. Their second baby, Levi, was born with Spina Bifida. They had trouble getting pregnant with baby number three, so they decided to turn to adoption. They asked their good friend, Kristen Prosser, a Minnesota-based photographer, to document the journey. The photos are stunning.
The call came in on a Tuesday that a baby was ready for adoption. The next morning, the couple was on an early morning flight to Tampa, Florida to meet their brand new baby girl.
They waited nervously at the hospital for nurses to bring them to the newest member of their family.
And then, the big moment finally came.
Sarah was able to hold her baby girl for the very first time.
We think she’s bound to be a daddy’s girl.
They cherished every moment.
And little Tilly Pearl seems to be loving her family too.
The Sarah and David shared the story on their blog, and spoke about the adoption in a video:
Congratulations to the Olsens on their newest addition!
