After a whirlwind of a year, Ozzy Osbourne says his marriage to wife Sharon is “1,000 percent better,” and he owes it in part to Viagra.

“Well, occasionally I have to take Viagra,” Ozzy admitted, saying, during an appearance on “The Talk,” that things are going so well he occasionally takes the drug. He then joked, “You know what, by the time it works, it’s a great sleeping pill, because my wife is asleep.”

In May of 2016, the rock star and Sharon split after it was revealed he had been unfaithful to her. Months later, Sharon publicly forgave him, saying, “I just can’t think of my life without him.” They went on to renew their wedding vows earlier this year and celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary not too long after.

“It’s 1,000 percent better,” Ozzy said of his marriage now while sitting alongside his wife. “It’s a journey, really, a marriage. You go up, you go down, you make mistakes. … I’ve learned a lot this year.”

In a May episode of “The Talk,” Sharon herself admitted that she “fell out of love with [her] husband and then fell back again” and gave her own reason for why things are working now, crediting Ozzy’s work to better himself as what made her “re-fall in love” with him.

“Probably, really, just months ago because he was trying so hard to be a better person — desperately trying, working his program, working with his therapist every day and trying so hard,” she said at the time. “I just had a newfound love and I respected him because he’s seriously trying to be a better person.”
