A woman’s search for the man she smooched at the Boston Marathon came to an end Sunday when she finally heard from the man’s wife.

Tennessee runner Barbara Tatge, 54, says her daughters dared her to kiss a handsome man along the route. She told the man about her daughter’s dare, and he obliged her by planting a kiss right on her lips.

After the race, media outlets picked up the story as well as Tatge’s daughter’s plea to find the man via social media. Then Sunday, the search came from a screeching halt when the Wellesley Townsend shared a letter from the man’s WIFE!

She seemed to have a sense of humor. She spoke to the Associated Press, saying, “For me, I’m not mad. Believe me, our friends have gotten a lot of mileage out of this story, and I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them give my husband grief!”

Tatge said she’s glad his wife was a good sport about the whole situation.
