A touching moment captured between a 3-year-old boy and his favorite Dinsey characters is touching hearts around the country.

Phoenix, a 3-year-old boy is is almost deaf, met Mickey, Minnie and Pluto at Disneyland. A video captured the sweet moment the characters started using sign language to communicate with Phoenix.

They signed, “It’s nice to meet you.”

Phoenix lit up, and even hugged Minnie and Mickey.

“We were so surprised,” mom Chantel Fox told the Today Show. “Normally he’s so unimpressed with others.”

The characters quickly picked up the signs from an ALS translator who quickly showed them how to sign.

The clip was shared by Olive Crest, an organization that helps children who have been abused or abandoned. The video was viewed more than 11 million times on Facebook.

“We’ve had many special moments like this happen before on those trips to Disneyland, but this one might take the cake,” said Heidi Riehl, director of marketing and public relations at Olive Crest.
