A very special service dog is going viral for his fetching yearbook photo.

It all started with a viral tweet. Diana Bloom, a student at Stafford County High School in Virginia, posted a photo of Alpha the service dog posing in her yearbook alongside his owner, Andrew Schalk.

“They put his service dog in the yearbook,” Bloom wrote on Twitter. “I’m CRYING.”

The tweet has been liked more than 8,000 times.

Alpha helps Andrew manage his diabetes, alerting him to dangerous drops in blood sugar before they happen.

“He has been a great companion and added a lot of happiness to my school’s environment,” Andrew told WTVR.
