Jenna Elfman and Stephen Schneider star in the new ABC comedy “Imaginary Mary” airing Tuesdays at 9:30pm.

They told Hot Topics host Heather Catlin while getting this opportunity was amazing, it was also extremely difficult.

They both moved their families to Vancouver, Canada to shoot the pilot.

“It was definitely a learning curve for me. It was like working mother to the extreme,” said Elfman.

She said she was really lucky and grateful that her husband and two kids were not only willing to move for her, but they supported her 100%.

Schneider admitted he couldn’t have done this show without the support of his wife.

“I moved my wife and daughter to Vancouver with me as well because I can’t live without them.”

He added it was difficult for his wife because she didn’t know anyone in Vancouver, but the cast was able to bond in a special way because of that.

“Our spouses are the unsung heroes in all of this, because they put up with a lot and handle and take care of a lot of business in order for us to be able to do this.”
