LAGRANGE, Ga. –¬†A group of teens wanted to stay out of trouble this summer, so they asked to help out in their community garden. The woman who met them was so impressed, she hired them on the spot.

Zsa Zsa Heard works at the Housing Authority in Lagrange, Georgia.  This summer, she was approached by four teenage boys, who asked her for a job.

She says she was shocked them the teens told her they wanted a job so they could stay away from gangs.

Heard was more than happy to oblige, and hired the boys on the spot. According to WXIA, they boys have been helping in the community garden by picking vegetables, tending to the chicken coup, and passing out main.

She posted the story on Facebook where it quickly went viral, getting more than 500 shares.
