A Maryland woman shot and seriously wounded during the Las Vegas shooting massacre in October is finally going home to spend the holidays with her family.
Tina Frost and her boyfriend attended the Route 91 Harvest Festival on October 1. One of the gunman’s bullets lodged in her eye.
According to WRC-TV, Frost’s boyfriend carried her to a truck, and the driver rushed her to a hospital. Doctors worked tirelessly to save her life.
Frost has been in the care of doctors and nurses since, working to redevelop her motor skills by throwing and kicking balls, baking and painting.
According to her GoFundMe page, Frost walked out of the inpatient rehabilitation hospital earlier this month.
“She can enjoy her family and friends and some normalcy and doing some more on her own. We will continue therapies on an outpatient basis, and she continues to get a lil stronger and better every day,” her family wrote.
