A bald eagle that was spotted in Southeast Washington, D.C., unable to fly and having trouble breathing was rescued Saturday by teams from the Humane Rescue Alliance, according to WPVI-TV.

The teams transported the injured eagle to a veterinary hospital, where those tending to the bird say its “prognosis is good.”

It is unknown how the eagle was injured in the first place.
