Jonathan Porter, of Porter Concrete Construction Company in Cleveland, Tenn., shared photos of little Izzadora ankle-deep in freshly spread concrete in her family’s home.

“Normally we see cats and dogs run or walk in concrete, but not this time,” the construction company wrote on Facebook. “This little girl was trying to see her mom and dad, so she came from upstairs to the basement to find them.”

Izzadora’s mother told  “The Today Show” she was grateful Jonathan wasn’t upset that his team’s work had been negated.

“We were kind of taken aback by the whole situation, figured Jonathan was going to be extremely irritated, because they were working hard, but it was comical,” Sara Millaway said.

According to Inside Edition, the family reserved a special space in the basement for a set of Izzadora and her brother’s footprints, and those will be permanent.
