A girl’s lemonade stand is raising money to make sure every kid in her school district is well fed this school year.

Six-year-old Amiah Van Hill of Hayden, Idaho opened a lemonade stand to raise money to pay off student lunch debt for kids in her school district. She told KREM she was inspired to find a way to help when she learned a story about a man paying off student lunch bills in another school district.

“My goal is to raise at least $100,” Amiah told KREM.

With her mom’s help, Amiah set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for her cause. Now, she hopes to raise $23,000 to pay off her entire district’s lunch debt.

“I will continue my weekend lemonade stands to reach my $23,000 goal in order to completely pay off the entire debt of the district but wanted to reach more people with Go Fund Me,” Amiah wrote on GoFundMe.
