PARKER COUNTY, Tx. – A man has been sentenced to life in prison after he was convicted for sexually abusing children.
One of his victims was a young family member who grew up to become a cop. While wearing a wire, she got him to confess six times to molesting her, according to the Waco Tribune.
The victim contacted Erlis Chaisson in 2014, asking to meet with him to talk about the abuse. Chaisson agreed to meet, not knowing the victim was now a cop and was wearing a wire.
Chaisson confessed six times during their conversation, the Waco Times reports.
“He was talking like he was talking to his best friend,” the victim told the Daily Beast. “Six times he confessed in the first hour and a half of that recording.”
Chaisson was previously convicted of sexually abusing the 8-year-old daughter of his girlfriend years earlier.
He was sentenced to life in prison Friday.
