TULSA, Okla. – A mom of twins got a welcomed surprise from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, after a story she posted to her Facebook page went viral.
Coty Vincent has a set of twins who are less than one-year-old. Vincent was recently at Enterprise picking up a rental car after hers was involved in a hit-and-run.
While there, she was touched by the actions of one employee.
Vincent says she doesn’t own a double stroller, so she always has to hold one of her 11-month-old twins. An employee named John was working behind the desk, and told her he also has a twin sister.
The kind man offered to hold one of the babies as Vincent filled out the paperwork. She snapped a photo of the moment and posted it to Facebook Wednesday evening.
“One of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met,” wrote Vincent. “We need more people like John who go the extra step. Be a John.”
Soon, the post caught the attention of Enterprise, and the company reached out to Vincent with a surprise, presenting her with a much-needed double stroller.
“We’re so proud of all our team members who help take care of our customers each day by going the extra mile,” Enterprise wrote in a Facebook post.
Vincent said the surprise meant a lot to her.
“It’s such a small act that’s touch so many people’s lives,” said Vincent. “What John did for me, and I’m sure what he’s done for so many others, has just made a better day,” Vincent told Tulsa World.
Enterprise said they will also be recognizing John for going the extra mile.
