Khloe Thompson is on a mission to make the lives of homeless people a little bit easier.

Khloe is a 9-year-old girl from Southern California who was heartbroken when she saw homeless people lined up on the street on her way to school.

“I would ask my mom, ‘What can I do to help?'” Khloe told Upworthy.

So the two of them launched Khloe Kares. Along with the help of her grandmother, Khloe sews Kare Bags, and fills them with supplies like personal hygiene products, washcloths and socks.

She says she gets positive reactions from everyone she passes the bags out to.

“They react really happy,” Khloe said with a smile on The Real. “They give me hugs and say ‘thank you.'”

According to Khloe, this is just the beginning. She’s planning on organizing a toy drive to donate to underprivileged children.

Khloe Kares is a registered 501(c) charity. They set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for their cause. If you would like to donate, click here.
