A teenager in Austin, Texas, who already lost her hair to chemotherapy once is shaving her head to raise money for cancer research.

Georgia Moore, 17, is celebrating five years of being cancer-free. To mark this date, she shaved her head on Saturday, helping to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation’s Brave a Shave for Kids with Cancer event.

Georgia raised more than $10,000 for the St. Baldrick’s foundation, according to the Austin American Statesman.

After shaving her head, Georgia went to prom rocking her new ‘do and a silver dress with embroidered flowers on it.
