NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Taylor Swift has joined the Academy of Country Music in donating to help the victims of the East Tennessee fires.

Swift donated $100,000 to Dolly Parton’s “Smoky Mountains Rise: A Benefit for the My People Fund.” The telethon will be aired on Tuesday. The ACM also donated $100,000 bringing the total to $200,000 to kick off the telethon.

The fires took 14 lives and destroyed millions of dollars of property.

Kenny Chesney, also an East Tennessee native, has partnered with the Country Music Association to donate $500,000, The Tennessean reports. A portion of that donation will also go to Parton’s My People Fund.

Tuesday’s show features a lineup of country music legends including Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Alison Krauss, Chris Stapleton and many more.
