Ellen DeGeneres first met Dianna Beasley 10 years ago, when Hurricane Katrina took everything she had.
But with willpower and a positive attitude, Beasley has since gone back to school to study public health and is working towards opening a food truck for a “healthy New Orleans.” Beasley is all about health. Now in her early 60s, she runs three to six miles every day.
Beasley’s granddaughter is in on food truck, too. She designed a logo for “Ms. Beasley’s” and saved $300 to put towards buying it.
But Ellen has a secret: she and her team worked for more than a month to make Beasley’s food truck a reality.
And nothing can stop those happy, joyous tears.
