CHANTILLY, Va. – A teen with autism finally got his moment in the spotlight after spending four years dreaming about it.
Jeffrey Creighton has been helping his team from the sidelines as manager of the his high school football team in Chantilly, Virginia. Jeffrey has a form of autism, but has always wanted to play on the team.
“I love football,” Jeffrey ton told WJLA.
On Friday, he finally got his monent.
During the last game of his high school career, Jeffery finally suited up and joined his teammates on the field.
“It’s emotional because never did we think he would be in a uniform ready to play a high school game,” said mom Andrea Creighton.
