PALO CEDRO, Calif. – All 57 members of a California high school football team came together for a touching display of support for a cheerleader battling leukemia.
A now viral video posted to Facebook shows each member of the Foothill High School football team entering the field in California and laying an orange rose at the feet of cheerleader Ashley Adamietz.
Orange is the color for leukemia awareness. Ashley posted on Twitter that she was speechless with the show of support from the team.
KRCR reports that the senior cheerleader was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia in August and has been going through daily chemotherapy treatments since.
The video has now been viewed more than 10 million times.
