BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – A family is grieving after losing their third child to cancer. They have buried three of their five kids, all of whom battled the same rare form of brain cancer.
Isabella Mading died in February of the same cancer that killed her older brother in 2010 and her older sister in 2013.
“I am sick of it. I am sick of it for my kids. I am sick of it for every person out there,” mother Erin Mading told WBBH.
All three kids suffered from Lynch Sundrome III. The rare form of cancer comes from a gene mutation.
Isabella, or Bell, was a lively girl and dreamed of becoming a nurse someday.
Mading says she is now on a mission to find a cure and make sure every family battling cancer has the resources they need.
