POTTSTOWN, Penn. – By the fourth grade, Marvin Pearson was completely blind and deaf, but he’s not letting that stop him from achieving his dreams.

Marvin started losing his vision on second grade. He fully lost his sight two years later. He also almost entirely deaf, but uses high-powered hearing aids.

Despite these challenges, he  plays football for his high school in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The teen brims with charisma and hopes his story inspires others to keep working to achieve their goals.

“It’s time to prove to you guys that people with disabilities can do anything you can do,” Marvin told Ellen.
