AUKLAND, New Zealand – A tattoo artist is giving sick children a reason to smile.
It all started when Benjamin Lloyd posted a photo to Facebook showing an airbrushed temporary tattoo he drew on a little boy.
“Nothing brings me more joy than boosting a kid’s confidence with a custom tattoo,” wrote Lloyd. “50 likes and I’ll go to Starship Hospital and tat all the kids up!”
The post has since gotten more than 468,000 likes. Lloyd has taken several trips to the Starship Children’s Hospital in New Zealand, bringing smiles to the patients’ faces with tattoos.
Lloyd told 9 News the ink he uses is organic and non-toxic.
