After the horrific deaths of five Dallas police officers, locals are coming together to hug the men who “serve and protect.”

On Thursday, July 7, 2016, a total of 12 police officers were injured by sniper fire during a peaceful demonstration in Dallas, Texas. Crowds gathered together to march against recent police-involved shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota. The evening ended quickly with five police officers dead.

In an attempt to shed some light on the city, men and women of all ages and races are supporting their cops.
