High school graduate Guy Eddy’s mother passed away when he was 7. As he now prepares to head to college, his only parent couldn’t attend his high school graduation ceremony. Eddy’s dad is battling liver cancer.
Thankfully, Eddy’s principal and school teachers agreed to conduct a private graduation ceremony for Eddy with his ill father at the hospital.
“He told me when I got there he was really upset that he couldn’t make it,” said Eddy.
His dad was thrilled and completely surprised by this emotional moment of truth, that the son he raised is now headed to college.
