A 12-year-old boy put more than 11-million grown men and women to shame, tying for first place in ESPN’s men’s basketball tournament bracket challenge.

But the middle school student isn’t allowed to take home the 20-thousand dollar prize and trip to Hawaii.

That’s because it’s clearly stated that the winner has to be at least 18 years old.

Sam Holtz says he entered the bracket using his dad’s email.

If he was 18, he would have won a $20,000 gift card to Best Buy and a trip to a basketball invitational in Hawaii .

It’s reported that Sports Center offered the 12-year-old an opportunity to co-host an episode of the show.
