Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is back from its mid-season break! The second half of the third season stars March 8 at 9PM ET.

Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg, reprising his role from “The Avengers” and the “Iron Man” movies) heads an elite team of fellow agents with the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as SHIELD, as they investigate strange occurrences around the globe and protect regular citizens from the extraordinary.

Agent Daisy Johnson (Chloe Bennett) the upstart hacker formerly known as Skye, is now a highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. After meeting her father Cal and Inhuman mother Jiaying, Daisy learned her real birth name and how to hone her ability to channel vibrations and cause earthquakes. She now leads S.H.I.E.L.D.’s mission to find and protect Inhumans around the world.

Once an undercover Hydra operative within S.H.I.E.L.D., the traitor Grant Ward is now one of Coulson’s deadliest adversaries. Brooding and unpredictable, Ward is reassembling the pieces of Hydra to exact revenge on S.H.I.E.L.D. At the end of the midseason finale of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., fans learned that Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) came back from the other world as someone else or, perhaps, something else.  “This is a new version of Ward,” says Dalton. “The Ward that we know and love is not there anymore. He’s going to be a little different. He’s inhabited by another creature which has existed for centuries on this other world called Maveth. There have been monuments that have been built in his honor. He has access to all of the thoughts and memories that Ward had.

Both Clark and Chloe explain what you can expect in the back half of the season.

We all know there’s a lot of action, but what you may not know is the actors say they have to train like athletes… even though Chloe admitted she started acting because of her lack of athleticism.
