The U.S. Paralympic National Team is in its final round of preparations before heading to the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio Sept. 7-18.
The Paralympic Games brings together the top eight soccer teams in the world to compete for the gold in Rio.
The team is will be practicing at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta from July 19-Aug. 1.
“The facilities that we will be using in Atlanta, along with the climate, will provide us an excellent opportunity to continue to build momentum towards the Paralympic Games in September,” said PNT head coach Stuart Sharp.
So far during their time in Atlanta, the team has spent time with young athletes at summer camps.
