ALEXANDRIA, Ind. – A touching photo posted to Instagram shows country singer Joey Feek embracing her three daughters at her childhood home in Alexandria, Indiana.

Joey, 40, entered hospice care earlier this month. She’s battling an aggressive form of cervical cancer that spread despite treatments and multiple surgeries after her diagnosis in May 2014.

She’s part of the country duo, Joey + Rory. Rory Feek, her husband, shared the photo to their Instagram page Saturday.

“Our girls drove up here last night to spend more time with their mom and little sister,” Rory wrote.

Rory posted to their blog earlier this month that the decision to enter hospice care was difficult, but they have come to peace with the plan.

“Not the answer we hoped for,” Rory wrote, “But the answer He has given us.”
