LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A middle school football team helped one of their own score a touchdown for the very first time.
Kendall Jenkins, 11, has Down syndrome and is arguably the best water boy ever at his Kentucky middle school.
His teammates and coach decided to put him in the came as their secret weapon.
And it was a huge success! His team protected Kendall all the way down to the end zone.
“It just melted my hear because they’re kids themselves and that’s pretty powerful,” said mom Christy Jenkins, Kendall’s mom.
Kendall is also a member of his cross country team. The other kids on his team say they make sure he always finishes the race.
