BALTIMORE – Kristen and Tom Hewitt were thrilled when they learned they were pregnant with triplets.
Kristen Hewitt said when their got their first ultrasound, the technician was abnormally quiet. Her husband jokingly asked if there was more than one baby in there.
That’s when the technician told them they were expecting not one, not two, but three babies.
Doctors say the odds of identical triplets could be as high as one in two million.
Thomas II “Tripp,” Finnegan “Finn,” and Oliver “Ollie” were conceived without the use of fertility treatments.
All three boys were born in excellent condition. The parents are using a color-coding system to tell the babies apart.
