If your baby has an abnormally large head, you might have a little genius on your hands.
According to research out of Edinburgh University, babies with big heads are more likely to be smarter, according to the Independent.
The study showed that babies born with a larger head circumference were more likely to get a degree and score higher on verbal-numerical reasoning tests.
So how big-headed are we talking? According to the study published in Molecular Psychiatry, babies with head circumference of 12.5 inches to 14 inches were more likely to be smarter.
“The study supports an existing theory which says that those with better overall health are likely to have higher levels of intelligence,” researcher Saskia Hagenaars told The Independent.
