Proctor & Gamble has done it again.
The company’s new “Thank you, Mom” video released last week is touching hearts around the world.
The video celebrates the athletes of the 2016 Rio Olympics and their mothers, who helped them get there.
The ad, featuring the slogan “It takes someone strong to make someone strong,” was released just in time for Mother’s Day.
It’s the newest installment of the global ad campaign that the company, which touts itself as the “Proud Sponsor of Moms,” launched before the London Olympics in 2012.
“At P&G we know that getting to the Olympic Games begins at childhood and that on each of these athletes’ journeys to London 2012, there was one person cheering for them louder than anyone…their moms,” the company wrote when they launched the popular campaign.
Since then, they’ve created several other videos, “Pick them back up, “Kids” and “Best Job,” that are among the most viewed Olympic Games videos of all time, according to the company.
This year’s video is titled “Strong.”
“A mother’s strength makes all the difference, and builds to the moment each child summons their own courage on the world’s biggest stage—the Olympic Games,” the company said.
