SAILSBURY TOWNSHIP, N.J. – A Pennsylvania teen with Down syndrome started off the school year with an extra dose of confidence after a group of 100 bikers greeted him on his first day of school.
The family of 16-year-old Sean Maehrer posted on Facebook saying they were worried about the start of the new school year, since Maehrer is often targeted by bullies at his school.
When a motorcycle club caught wind of the story, they didn’t hesitate to help.
According to Inside Edition, 16 bikers showed up at his front door to give him a ride on his first day of school. When he arrived, 100 bikers were lined up at the school’s entrance, waiting to give him a proper send-off on his first day.
