A pair of Kent State University students finally met face-to-face after exchanging hilarious messages for years.

Josh Avsec, 22, and Michelle Arendas, 21, matched on the dating app Tinder in September 2014. The two exchanged goofy messages for nearly three years but never set up a date.

The messages went viral earlier this month when Josh shared the photos to Twitter.

“Good Morning America” invited the pair to meet in New York City on live television.

On Tuesday, the two were separated by a wall on the set of “GMA” as Michael Strahan and Lara Spencer asked them questions to determine their compatibility.

Finally, the two moved from behind the wall and were able to meet face-to-face.

“This is a dream come true. I can’t believe I’m seeing her right now,” said Avsec.

As for their first date, the two are jetting off to Maui. When Tinder caught wind of their unlikely story, they offered to send them on a vacation for their first date.

Guess we’ll have to wait and see how it goes!
